CE LVD
The Australian Federal Government and the EU designated ITACS to be a Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) for the Low Voltage Directive (72/23/EEC). The Low Voltage Directive (LVD) is a European Directive (LAW) covering the minimum safety requirements of all electrical equipment. ITACS’s status as a CAB allows ITACS reports and opinions to be recognised in any court action or dispute within the EU. ITACS can prepare CE Declarations by either conducting the tests or reviewing tests previously conducted in establishing compliance to the LVD. ITACS can also prepare CE Declarations and Technical Files covering EMC.
